We designed this pretty little number for the cover of a boudoir album that a bride was giving her husband. It's a nod to the 1950's housewife with a little sass, and we were inspired by the book "The Secret Life of Emily Dickinson". Wouldn't this be perfect for a lingerie shower invite? I hope you are managing to stay warm. We've been snowed in for the third day today. While I usually would love weather like this, I feel a little bit differently about the snow now that I have a puppy in potty training. How do you people up North do it?! Kudos to you.
Here are some sweet little DIY gifts for bridesmaids from a bride on a budget!
1. make these lovely rolled flowers to make a pretty headband or necklace. 2. refashion an old t-shirt to make this pretty little necklace. 3. I cannot get enough of glittery flats, and how great to know you can make your own! 4. a homemade, delicious cookie can beat out a nice pair of shoes any old day! 5. one very pretty homemade headband. 6. nothing can replace the thoughtfulness of a heartfelt, handwritten letter. 7. a pom pom necklace? who'da thought? 8. please, if you can knit or crochet, deny us no longer. 9. stitch some pretty little letters or a design on a pillow like this little beauty! 10. bow cuffs, yes!
merry friday, friends!
my overzealous diy spirit has kicked into full gear, and it is very evident by all of the crafting I'm scheming about for this barn wedding we have coming up!
