We embraced the approach of spring with vintage umbrellas and a handcrafted shower to create a scene that felt very dream like and intimate, while still maintaining a strong sense of play.

The ceremony was held in a sophisticated loft in downtown Fort Worth. Dramatic windows offered perfect natural light for our afternoon ceremony, and umbrellas hovered above the scene to offer a delicate touch of whimsy.

The setting for the reception could not have been more picturesque! Our cozy table sat on top of a hill in a park overlooking the Fort Worth skyline. It was undeniably a site for sore eyes!

Teacups overflowing with ranunculus and french tulips doubled as table decor and favors for the guests. The flowers, provided by Kate Foley Design, were truly my favorite part of the day and tied everything together perfectly.

Why yes, this sweet little angel baby is our puppy Harvey?! Such a sweet little model!

Oh, I do hope you enjoyed these! We really had the most fun styling this shoot, and just feel overwhelmingly blessed for the wonderful friends we have that were able to share in pulling it all together!

We designed this pretty little number for the cover of a boudoir album that a bride was giving her husband. It's a nod to the 1950's housewife with a little sass, and we were inspired by the book "The Secret Life of Emily Dickinson". Wouldn't this be perfect for a lingerie shower invite? Let us know if you are interested in the PDF for such a cause. 

I hope you are managing to stay warm. We've been snowed in for the third day today. While I usually would love weather like this, I feel a little bit differently about the snow now that I have a puppy in potty training. How do you people up North do it?! Kudos to you.

Emmelie and Russ painted a masterpiece for all that were able to see the wedding day.  From a gorgeous ceremony with fantastic architecture, spectacular florals, perfect accessories, great colors, and lively jazz to keep the reception full of life and love.  Emmelie and Russ are such a sweet couple, their friendly personalities and endearing nature were evident to all. The ceremony was located at the Marty Leonard Chapel and the reception was at the McDavid Studio right near Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth.
