Two weekends ago, Garett and I moved into our fourth home since getting married almost a year ago! We've seen and done so much in this one year, but it just reiterates that it's the company you keep that really matters. So yes, in the spirit of Thanksgiving I pick Garett for being what I am most grateful for. Our sweet new home that I just love is just lagniappe.

I've spent my evening watching "It's a Wonderful Life" and working on homemade wreaths and stockings. Seeing as my Christmas tree is already up, I think it is safe to say I'm a little overzealous about the holidays!
I can't wait to share a few Christmas DIYs, but you'll just have to wait until after Thanksgiving! Speaking of Thanksgiving... please feast your sweet eyes on my day before Wednesday lust list. It's completely acceptable to drool a little bit.

My Ella Fitzgerald Holiday station on Pandora was completely romancing my soul a little bit, when "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" came on. I guess I had never really listened to the words very closely, but tonight as I was listening to it I completely switched gears from "iloveyou-Ella-please-keep-singing-sweet-carols-in-my-ear" to rolling on the floor laughing at the Grinch song. "You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile," seriously, I think if someone insulted me like that I would hug them for being brilliant.
